Sophie in the spotlight

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

Out for a long walk with our Labrador, Marley, and then back home; putting a film on and a home-cooked Sunday roast

My favourite holiday destination is:

Canada – we were lucky enough to go on a road trip through ‘The Rockies’ in 2022 and it did not disappoint!

My favourite song to play in the car is:

‘Hold On’ by Wilson Phillips

The first album I bought was:

Most likely a Westlife album

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

Dr Dolittle – how amazing it would be to be able to talk to animals!

If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

Eating chocolate

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

Chocolate Brownie & Ice-cream

The best gift I’ve ever received is:

Lion feeding experience at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

The three small things that make my day better are:

A good cup of tea, sunshine, a nice chat on the phone with my Mum

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

Julie Andrews, Sir David Attenborough, Jonny Wilkinson

Three things I haven’t done so far include:

Go on a safari, attended a Coldplay concert, North Coast 500 road trip

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

Kind-hearted, funny, dependable

About Sophie

Personally

Away from the office, Sophie enjoys spending time walking with her partner Tom and their dog Marley, who keeps them busy with his energetic personality. She also enjoys travelling both in the UK and abroad, particularly family trips to Norfolk for long walks along the beach. When she has a quiet afternoon, Sophie can often be found in the garden growing vegetables and flowers from seed.

Supported by...

We’ve chosen to partner with Benchmark Capital, part of The Schroders Group – a FTSE 100 organisation, allowing  us to benefit from their financial strength, innovative technology, regulatory and compliance knowledge and the expertise of their 300-strong team.

This allows us to give our clients the very best service, backed by the financial strength and resources of a trusted name in financial planning.

Being an Appointed Representative of Benchmark, allows them to take care of the important but time consuming regulatory administration of running an FCA-regulated business, freeing up more time for us at New Path to focus on what really matters: understanding your goals and being there when you need us.

We also work with Verve, the UK’s leading paraplanning team, to provide expert technical support behind the scenes.

Paraplanners are highly qualified professionals who take on much of the detailed research and technical work that goes into creating a financial plan.

By partnering with Verve, we can draw on their experience, precision, and industry-leading resources. This allows us to spend less time on administrative duties and more time doing what we do best – sitting down with you, understanding your goals, and guiding you through the decisions that shape your financial future.
